hey guys I am sure much of you have read about how the incase scratches the iPhone. Well I am considering opening a lawsuit against them for this. A number of people have had this issue because of the case stretching. This shouldent be happening and is a faulty case. I talked to a rep on the phone and he kept telling me they have no idea what we do with the phone. The case is not scratching it, its the dust underneath. So is this a case worth filing or what?

you could try class action but it might end up just being a waste of your time. guess there's only one way to find out though, go through with it and see what kind of remedy is offered.

yes it kinda is the dust because the case helps keep dust from gettin in and out
so once u got some dust in there it stays there and slowly recks it...

No, not worth it. Why would you want to open a class action lawsuit against them because the bezel (basil is a plant) of your phone is scratched. Get over it....... Perhaps you should sue Apple for putting a piece on the phone that can get scratched. Perhaps you are right to sue the case manufacturer for allowing the case to be removeable. Welcome to reality, nothing is perfect. Seeing all of these "i want to sue because blah blah blah is not my fault and I am owed money for it" is so ridiculous. People need to quit trying to get money over nothing......

i have this case. if you clean your iPhone every few days (i take it out every now and then to dock it and wipe it down then), it won't cause any damage to your iPhone. and i don't think you'll get any money out of a lawsuit. the legal fees alone would cost you more than your iPhone is worth.

basically it scratched all the basil along the phone. Search in google about iPhone incase scratching
and this is just too good to pass up. how do you have basil on your iPhone? do you keep your iPhone in your spice rack? i simply must know.

You're going to sue over a $30 case. What do you hope to gain, $30? You should have returned it.

My issue with that case was stretching, not scratching. I sent them my receipt from my purchase at Apple and they sent me a new, tighter case. They have a great customer service dept. there.

if you win your class action you may end up with a settlement of a $5 discount coupon on a new incase product

This kind oif thinking is why judicial reform is so badly needed in this country. A class action suit for minimal scratches on a cell phone caused by a $30 companion product. For God's sake, once you notice the damage starting, just stop using it and post your experience for other's benefit, then move on. Just one man's opinion.

That would require personal responsibility and we will have none of that!
