What do you guys think of the idea of the weather widget displaying the last TEMP/Weather condition of the city you selected? Similar to how the CALANDER WIDGET updates the day.

I don't think anybody wouldn't want it added. I suggested it Apple via their suggestions tool. I just don't think it will be added anytime soon with all of the other things that REALLY need attention.

I like it. It was one of the first feature updates I thought would be cool.

Unlike the Calender widget [updates the widget icon to the correct day]
the Weather widget stays at 73degrees, it never updates the icon.

When I first got my phone it was 73 degrees outside so I thought it was right, then it rained the next day and it was still sunny and 73, lol.

I wouldn't want my iPhone doing constant background temperature checks in order to keep the widget icon updated. I like my battery! :)

Its just another thing that people can add to the list of things that shorten their battery life. Plus mine works fine, let me check how hot it is now. um 73, thats about right.

Then put an option to auto update or manual update. It doesn't have to be one way or the other, they can code both.

yes im not a noob and i know how to use the search function. :) i should be a member of the month. :) Maybe Apple might fix the issue any maybe the wont. It doesn't really bother me all that much it would just be nice. Even on my MBP it has to update the weather widget when i open the dash board. And thats connected to the network 24/7
