WeatherIcon 6 was just released and it has iOS 6 support. It allows you to add live weather to any icon on your Springboard. It's available for free in Cydia. It will soon be updated with status bar weather support.

I'm using the App Store icon for live weather since I prefer to keep the weather app tucked away in a folder so it doesn't waste space. It's more convenient for me to open the weather app through Notification center, so this is perfect since I can keep the weather app in a folder on the last page.

Uninstalled it. Usually doesn't update unless you pull the notification center down.
I am keeping it for now to see if they fix it, but for me it does not update until I respring.

An update for Weathericon 6 is out to fix the refresh issue. Hopefully it does, however I had to still respring for it to change from 61 to 75 degrees.

I use Forecast. It makes the stock weather widget thingy in Notification Center much better, IMO and it works on the Lockscreen too.

I'm not installing WeatherIcon until the all packages are updated (libstatusbar) so it works correctly.

I uninstalled it, too. I didn't realize it doesn't periodically update the weather when I started the thread.

I thought on the older version you could choose your own refresh rate?

There isn't a setting for it. You might be able to adjust/fix it in the .plist, but I uninstalled it before I looked.

Yeah I remember now, I changed the refresh rate to 30 mins via iFile.

I was referring to a refresh rate setting. There isn't one in Settings > Notifications > Weather Widget.

I assume when Forecast refreshes that weather icon does as well.

No, it does not. It's pretty useless as is. You might be able to go into the .plist and tweak it so it refreshes, but I uninstalled it before looking for a solution.

Weather icon has refreshed for me every 30 minutes after the update in Cydia for it.

I installed it again earlier today just to make sure there wasn't a setting where VOLS said there was. It's uninstalled now, but I had it on my phone for about six hours. It never updated once and it still showed the daytime icon a couple hours after the sun had set, which is what prompted me to uninstall it again.

That is very strange. My image always changed from sunshine to night etc. After the update, it fixed it so it refreshes every half hour or so. I used to have to respring, now I don't.
