When in settings under Safari>advanced - what is website data?

Also what does a hard reset do?(holding power and home button)

It's pretty much all the sites you have been to. I think since last reset.

    Hard reset, I forget.

Hard reset is a hard shut down of the device, kinda like pulling the plug on a computer & restarting it. It shuts everything off then restarts, thus the reason it takes a little longer than a normal reboot.

Website Data shows you a list of sites that have stored/cached things on your device. I am not sure, but I am guessing this includes HTML5 local data and cookies, because the Remove All button in Website Data says the same thing as the Clear Cookies and Data button does in the Safari screen.
