Based on what was announced in today's keynote, what feature are you most looking forward to in OS X 10.10?

Personally, my jaw dropped when I saw them placing/answering traditional voice calls from OS X using the Mac as a speakerphone... without ever touching your iPhone.

I'm also very, very happy about AirDrop from OS X to iOS... (which should've been there from the get-go).

I'm going to have to go with the answering of the phone from the computer. That is awesome! :)

I hate the look of the new dock. Boring.

I haven't installed it yet, but I like the look of the dock and the windows. I'm not installing it yet on my production machine – but definitely jealous of those jumping on the beta bandwagon. The calling is pretty neat. I can definitely see myself using that feature.

Why do you like it? It's flat and boring compared to what we have now.

I'm wondering when they will send it to us beta testers.

I'm an iOS developer, but don't have access to Yosemite. I wouldn't install yet, if I did, but did sign up today. Apparently, they are limiting to the first million. I predict they close that beta soon. People love new stuff, especially free new stuff.

I'm a big fan of minimalist design. It strikes a chord with me. I wasn't crazy about iOS 7 at first, but now iOS 6 seems like the dark ages. I picked up my iPod touch and cannot wait to update it.

I dislike that they're trying to make us think "iCloud Drive" is a new feature. We are just being given back something Apple had already provided before, something they decided to take away (iDisk).

The only thing new (that I can see so far) is that it will now allow Windows support.

The pricing is pretty competitive, but it still doesn't beat the 15GB free I have on my OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive), and also on Google Drive.

"More importantly, Apple is dramatically lowering its pricing for iCloud Drive. In addition to the 5GB you get for free, Apple will provide 20GB for 99 cents per month, and 200GB for 3.99 per month. (Previously, in the U.S., Apple charged over $8 per month for 50GB of cloud storage.) This finally puts Apple in line with Google, which charges $1.99 per month for 100GB." (via WSJ)

I just spoke with Apple, and they said it would be available to beta testers soon or a few days to weeks from now. But they also said developers got it for sure today. Did you not get it?

Apple chat support said we may not see the beta until a few days or weeks. I hope they are wrong!

I'm hoping you all are developers, because I haven't gotten the beta test version email yet.

I did not get the email, but when I went into my iOS development portal, there was an option to download the Yosemite beta.

Downloaded it last night, can not wait to try it out....
