My magic mouse seems to have packed up, all was fine until i got an on screen notice telling me my mouse batteries was low, since installing fresh batteries the mouse tracking has become very slow at best, if i were to move my mouse the entire length of my desk it would translate to an onscreen 3 centimetre movement. I did do a little research on this problem, tried taking out the batteries and re inserting, tried going into system preferences and switching off bluetooth and rebooting all to no avail. surely its not the end of the mouse.
I am using a mid 2013 Macbook Air version 10.9.3
please help.
sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

It sounds as if if needs calibrating. Here's a possible solution I found online.

You should actually do this every year. Even more often if you spend a lot of time on the computer. This should work well.

To re-calibrate your mouse, place your curser on the capital H below, left click and hold, then drag it toward the small g.

If it doesn’t work immediately, you might want to clean your mouse, as the calibration is off.

It worked, thanks.
