Hi Guys,

I remember Apple pulled all v1.0.2 stock from their stores in late Oct when v1.1.1 came out - are they doing the same thing for v1.1.2 in USA?

Has v1.1.2 started selling in USA Apple stores yet?

If so anyone have any idea what date they started selling them?

Tks

I really doubt they would pull 1.1.1 considering it's quite similar to 1.1.2, more similar than 1.0.2 was to 1.1.1.

att

AT&T still has 1.1.1 on the shelf...you think they would just unload those and all new shipments would be 1.1.2. It would be a waste to pull the 1.1.1 from stores

I'm not sure what version they sell, but the ones they have on display are still 1.1.1.

I went into a store yesterday and checked their firmware. I didn't jailbreak one because I had no reason to, but I was surprised that they had not been upgraded yet.

Lol. Yeah. People that go to the Apple Store and have bad experiences now have a tendency to walk by and jailbreak a phone.

I thought that Apple didn't go through the trouble of removing unsold iPhones with older firmware; that they just kept them in stock and sold and replenished when necessary.

When I bought mine it came with 1.0.2 while the latest firmware at the time was 1.1.1

why would it matter what version comes on the phone? unless you don't want it. if you want 1.1.2 just bring it home and update it.

BTW i got mine warranty swapped today and the one i got was 1.1.1

Well if the person wants to jailbreak a 1.1.1 having a 1.1.2 isn't going to be the best for them, because it requires more steps.

Yeah if he's looking for the updated one then the newest firmware is just a plug and click away. I have to thank Apple for that easiness at least.
