I've decided to try and start a new (hopefully never ending) thread. Hopefully no one has tried to start one of these threads before (yes Ray, that was for you). It can be non-alcoholic, specific beer/cider, wine, ****tail or whatever you choose.

I'll get it started;

I prefer most anything with whiskey. Currently, "Old Fashioned" is my go to, or a good craft beer.

I like vodka in just about anything. My non-alcoholic drink of choice is an Arnold Palmer.

Rum And coke, preferably Brugal extra old when I find it. Chivas Regal and coke or on the rocks. Both equally my favorites.

Whisky Sour w/ Knob Creek. Mmmm Delish. Made right it's good.

Oh and also Bailey's straight from the freezer.

Amaretto is good, haven't had it in a while.

I prefer dark beers, especially the seasonal winter brews from Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevada. Dark rum or whiskey with Cherry Coke is good too.

Cherry coke and Knob Creek. I might have to try that.

I also like Belvedere Vodka with Orange Juice.

Bacardi 151 is good. I like to add the Bacardi to a vodka sauce I make. A little while cooking a litte after. Yeah, you will feel it a bit, but it's really good!

Knob Creek was my father's favorite :)
A friend of my Hubby told him about it and he insist I try it. The first time I had it, it was nasty straight and the next morning I felt like my insides were being ripped out! I was messed up the next day. My whole body hurt. It was stupid. Then he made the Whisky Sour. An old timey drink, I made fun of until I tasted it. Delish!

I'm a cheap beer guy. You'll generally find me holding an ice-cold can of PBR. But I'll occasionally do wine and rarely liquor. If I do any straight liquor, it's going to be Jack or Jameson's. I can drink beer all day long but I'm not so good at holding my liquor.

It's all in your head. Drink straight out of the bottle thinking its water, you wouldn't know the difference. My alcoholic uncle told me that.

Oh no, it's definitely not all in my head. If I make it a liquor evening, even with only a couple I'm likely not to remember it.

Me too, that's why my endeavors into the hard stuff are few and far between. Most mass produced beers (PBR, Coors, Bud, etc.) are like having sex in a canoe to me.

I forgot to say late uncle. He died of liver failure 12 years ago.

I like PBR, High Life, Labatt's, Bud... Coors Light is ok if it's really cold on a hot day. Miller lite tastes like straight-up flat metal to me. I've been getting into "real" beers like microbrews and such, but I don't really drink them for the sake of drinkin'. They're better spread out and with food.
