Where is your place to get gas at?

My theory is this: I go to thorntons or BP only. When BP is cheaper or equal to thorntons, I go to BP. When thorntons is cheaper, I go there.

I go to am-pm for cheap gas or use my gas rewards at a Safeway pump.

SAMs club is always the cheapest around me so I go there unless I have gift cards elsewhere.

Like the rest of you I drive 30 miles to save 5¢ per gallon.

Some people.

Think about it...people drive all over the place to actually save 5¢. So if you buy 20 gallons of gas you are saving $1 and you probably wasted $10 worth of gas getting there and back.

See how it works. I'm good at math! :D

Sams Club saves me 15-25 cents. Other places are expensive!

In my area we have Speedway. I go there almost exclusively. They have a rewards program based on points from purchases. If you buy $100 gift cards and use them at the pump you can really rack them points up. Now I drive for work, a lot! On average, I get a free $100 fuel card every 5-6 weeks.

I have a company vehicle so I don't really pay attention to the cheapest place if I am out of my office driving to a meeting, but I will avoid the gas stations in my neighborhood with the higher prices.

Well, you could try to use an app like GasBuddy to find the prices in your "neck of the woods". It serves up crowd sourced pricing.
YMMV

I buy mine at Delta Express. They're owned by Mapco, and I save by using a rewards card. It's also convenient to my home. I'm not one to drive 5+ miles to save .05 per gallon. It's not worth it.

Gas Buddy for me as well. I'll check stations within 3 or 4 miles of home and go to the cheapest one. Even if I'm traveling I'll do something similar, check stations coming up ahead on the interstate and go to the cheapest one within a mile or two of the interstate I'm on. My car doesn't seem to care as my gas mileage has remained fairly consistent.

But it's the gunk that builds up

How does one know if that happens to them? Lol they probably will never know. I only go to Shell and or SAMs Club.
I imagine it would take a long time to build up. Put in some premium ethanol free gas with cleaning additives every now and then.

Knowing me I would put that stuff in every time as I get worried haha. But i don't period. I just fill up and go. Regular gas type.
