Why can't we add/manage features online?

When I login to my AT&T account and click on "Add/Manage Features", I get the following message in red type...

"F999: Due to temporary technical issues, you can view your current features as an iPhone customer, but you are not able to add or remove features online at this time. If you would like to add or remove a feature, please call Customer Care at (800) 331-0500 or you may contact our Click to Chat group from 8:00am to 11:45pm EST for assistance with this process."

Temporary technical issues? For five weeks?

Why? Why? Why?

i had the same problem, i went into a cingular store and had it changed in 2 minutes, though i think they charged me sum changing fee of some sort because they printed me a bill and i had more extra fees than usual, oh well... least i wont go over my text messages now.
