    Hello all,

I have the username and password for a network at my university, but it says i'm not verified when it goes to the certificate page, and asks me to click accept, i click accept and thats about it. Nothing happens from there and still says not verified.

Is there anyway to get this certificate?

There are laptops that we can use that use the wifi network, is there a digital certificate folder i can take the certificate out of and possibly upload to the iphone and do something like this and get it to work?

Or how would i get the certificate for the iphone/iPod touch.

find it at Internet setting, content tab, certificate button.

2 ways to install a certificate on iPhone:

    1. attach the cert to an email and send it to a POP/IMAP account that is setup on the iPhone. Tapping on the cert attached will install it on the device.

    2. host the cert on a webpage. Tapping on the link to the cert would download and install it on the device.

It is strange I've found that the safari autofill settings affect certificates on an iPod Touch and iPad. On the iPad it acts like it locks up the wifi connection and then it drops if set to remember userid and password. You might try changing these setting and see if it helps.

I'm having this same problem at my campus. They use the Secure W2 program and I can't figure out which certificate it is that I am supposed to copy over so I can finish setting up the connection on my phone & iPad. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
