Although my Settings are indicating "WiFi On" and identifying my home network, the indicator on my phone is indicating "LTE". What's going on and how can I correct it?

Hello. How often is this occurring? It sounds like it could be a connection issue meaning being too far away from the router to be able to successfuly be able to connect to the network.

This may be of assistance to you.

Wifi issues for the iPhone 5 are unfortunately a known issue. Have you tried a full restore or speaking to Apple?

I did a hard reset which corrected the problem but I was in the same location that I received the LTE signal

A hard reset is normally the fix for several issues pertaining to the iPhone. Are you now able to connect to your wifi network?

I'm having some crazy issues as well, sadly mine are stemming from my router, not my phone (or iPads).

When I'm on my back porch, my signal switches back and forth between LTE and Wi-Fi, but never do both indicators show at the same time. That's an odd glitch.
