Okay, if this is a nasty joke, or something that shouldnt have been unearthed, I really cant think any less of the media than I already do for not respecting him, and his family wishes. Its beyond insensitive to say the least.

Wiki leaks released information that claims Jobs didn't die of Pancreatic Cancer. The documents leaked are saying he had HIV... and Kaposi's Sarcoma developed as a result which is close to Pancreatic cancer apparently (symptom wise).

Its only a matter of time before it gets around the internet, and various other places (if it hasn't already). (I saw a blip about this on TMZ...and then on huffington post, both of which the post has disappeared).

Thoughts?

I don't trust wiki leaks. But, he's dead. It shouldn't matter of how he died unless your a guy that does autopsies.

RIP Steven P. Jobs; We will miss you with our hearts; 1955-2011

I trust neither wikileaks nor TMZ. I don't consider TMZ a news source, to be honest, but more like a perezhilton.com where it's just a bunch of girl gossip that goes around the internet and stays there. I mean have you seen the picture TMZ posted claiming it's a picture taken of Steve Jobs after he resigned as COO of Apple? It's ridiculously photo-shopped and they wanted us to believe.

I've got to agree with Mac, it doesn't matter how he died, as long as he did. The media definitely should respect that.

Either way it doesn't matter, we should choose to remember the way Steve Jobs lived and what he brought to us that changed our lives.

I don't believe this for one minute. But, wiki leaks have released certain truths.

I nearly get physically ill if TMZ happens to be on the TV for more than a few seconds. There is something creepy/sleazy/disgusting/whatever about it that is deplorable.

I think it matters in the sense that these rumors are started with the intention of tarnishing reputations. I agree with Hippo; it's best to just not even repeat it. We add fuel to the fire when we do.

Good idea. This topic doesn't deserve any more attention here. Thread closed.
