Did you know that MIcrosoft enables—by detault—a feature on Windows 10 that uses your bandwindth to propagate Windows 10 install files to other PCs on the Internet? Well, now you do.

It's possible to turn this off, but it isn't immediately obvious how. Microsoft sneakily buried the toggle deep inside of Settings.

Fortunately, Redmond Pie has done a great job of explaining where to find and disable this nefarious "feature."

I've extracted the instructions (minus the screenshots) from Redmond Pie's article and pasted them below:

Step 1: Launch Settings (Ctrl+I) and head into the Windows Update settings option.
Step 2: Click on Advanced options.
Step 3: Select the Choose how updates are delivered option.
Step 4: From here, turn the toggle to off (refer to the screenshot in the article if you need to).

Be a friend and share this with any Windows 10 users you may know.
