These boards are dead. What happened to all the threads? I was here last time around the 6 discussion and there were people posting all over. What happened?

You’re not the first to notice. A user recently described the forum as “stagnant.” I guess this applies to new event launch discussions as well.

Another user on that very thread states that there are only about “12 active members or so."

There are many reasons for a shrinking forum. Sometimes people just decide to move on; sometimes users will drive other users away. One problem is that the really knowledgeable folks have left.

Just look through some of the threads... This use to be a fun place to come now it's a lot of troll postings, attacks and put downs..

I dunno... I still come here just not as often as I use to.

Whoa, talk about a slap in the face to every remaining user!
Sorry. I sound have said that most had left. We don't have many really knowledgeable folks here. I'm talking primarily about jailbreak stuff. I used to help people a lot (before you got here), then Mindi took over. But she's gone now and I seriously doubt she'll be back. That's all I'm going to say about her leaving.

This used to be a much more tech-oriented forum but it's basically a social site now..

Didn't mean to offend, but that's my two cents.

I know I haven't been around all that much, real life things, etc. I think it is the nature of this field of technology too. The newness has worn off at least in my case. Technology, especially smartphones, moves so quickly and the novelty with iPhone isn't the same as it once was with the advancements among other smartphones. I still check into this forum but don't always post.

Kevin is correct. The boards are dying because we all left.

I am assuming I was one of the 'knowledgable' ones. ;)

I still lurk, but now use an android device, a HTC 10 - I think its awesome

I still lurk around. I just haven't really contributed much. I still use all Apple stuff. But honestly I have been putting most of my efforts in work and playing pool.

I’ve noticed in uptick in the posting since the day the iPhone 7 was announced; let’s see if people stick around after the hoopla dies down.

Is this why I cannot find this app on the App Store anymore?

Even though I still got the app and use it when I get my new iPhone 7 Plus how would I go about putting the app on it when it's no longer on App Store?
Sync your current phone with iTunes on a computer and allow it to transfer purchases. When you get the new phone, check the box for the iCafe app in iTunes and then sync.
