Finally was activated last night, which is of course, awesome. Played with it, put my songs on it, messed with the internet and went to sleep.. Woke up this morning and the battery was completly drained. (Wasn't plugged in my computer, have you)..

Anyreason this happened? Was it running something while it was locked.

Kind of scares me that it happened like that!

Any thought?

if you have problems, do a restore through iTunes...you can always resync your info.

Yeah my battery was depleted by an additional 25% this morning too.

I think one problem may be with the email settings. If it's set to autocheck frequently, then it's doing that all throughout the night. I wish there was some way that the phone would not check email by default for what you specify to be a "quiet time".

Also it would be nice if the phone is sleeping if it would turn off the WiFi if it doesn't already.

fyi, in case you don't know...

you can set your email to manual check in the settings/mail button.

that will help with your battery drain.

Guy, and gals, remember that you need to allow a few cycles of charge and discharge to gain the full power capacity of the battery. Give it a month's worth of usage, then let's see what happens. Worse case, you get a replacement from Apple. But give it time.
