Thanks, inurse, for taking the time. The email was fine a couple days ago. Not sure what I did to change things. I'm not talking on the phone when I get the notifications that I have a new message, but when I go to the inbox, I can see the new email (subject line only) for about half a second...

Hi, can anyone help me get my email back? I get a notification, but when I try to read the email by clicking on it, I see it disappear before my eyes. Not sure what I could have done ... Could my iCloud settings have something to do with it? I'm having a hard time understanding this iCloud...

I rec'd an email that I was running out of iCloud memory, so I went in settings to turn off games, banks, etc so I wouldn't have to pay for more memory. I didn't touch my email settings, but now I'm getting notifications for emails and when I try to go to my inbox, I can see the email disappear...

Actually, it turned out to be a volume control that popped up on my homescreen (Had a volume up/down control, play and pause control). Not sure where it came from, but turned the volume all the way down, and it's back to normal. Thanks anyway for trying!

I tried the on/off switch on upper left side of phone, and also tried to bring the volume control all the way down (below switch, also on left side). Apps still make sounds in full volume. HELP ... Just want to silence the phone! I must have hit something by accident.
