    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Do I understand that you're stating that an iTunes restore is needed in order to apply the unlock information from Apple's database to the phone? I needed no iTunes intervention. Having called my provider a few days earlier and paid for the unlock (meaning it was subsequently propagated to...

    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Update: just inserting the sim card worked, no respring/reboot necessary, and my phone is unlocked! I think that the restore in iTunes for device unlocking is no longer necessary with iOS 9 and above.

    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Thanks Europa for your guidance. I'll try it out on my new phone when I'm on my trip, and bring along my old one just in case. Thanks to all.

    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Thanks Europa for your answer, I'll get myself ready for the next jailbreak (here's hoping, they seem to be MUCH rarer nowadays). I have asked Leo two questions, and if you have the time to comment, I'd appreciate it. Hi Leo, thanks for your answer. I have two questions: a) If I put in a SIM...

    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Hi Europa, Many thanks for replying! I don't need it right now, so I will wait. Luckily, my old iPhone 5 with its replaced battery will substitute for my need for an unlocked phone during my upcoming trip. Thanks for confirming what I had suspected. So just to confirm- two questions: a) The...

    Unlocking my JB iPhone 6s

Hi, I have a jailbroken iPhone 6s on 10.0.1, and I do NOT wish to lose my jailbreak. I would also like to get my phone unlocked. Getting the carrier to do that is easy, and merely involves that a small payment be made. However, it appears that based on my past experience with my old iPhone...

Pangu Teases 10.3.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 7

If you're from the US/Canada I would say GSM. But I don't remember the server asking me this for my iPhone 6s when I had saved my SHSH2 blobs...

Pangu Teases 10.3.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 7

Are you sure? What about this? It leaves the door open to the JB being released after 10.3.2 is released. Since we've saved 10.3.1 blobs, we may have the option to upgrade to 10.3.1 using Prometheus, though I've never used it myself...

Pangu Teases 10.3.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 7

Yup, good point, I always have to re-iterate through all my previous searches in my head and search again for tweaks and their sources. BTW, thanks for posting about the possible jailbreak here- it's my most usual place to check for such news.

Pangu Teases 10.3.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 7

So beyond saving blobs on https://tsssaver.1conan.com/, is there anything else for me do in order to prepare for this possible future JB? Will these saved blobs help me to update to 10.3.1 regardless of its being signed or not (say if 10.3.2 comes out)? My IP 6s is currently on 10.0.1...

Wow. Any word on other phone models? I have an IP6s on 10.0.1, jailbroken.

    iOS 10 Jailbreak ?

BTW, I forgot to mention two ports: a) In WinSCP, use the SCP protocol on port 22. b) Each time you re-jailbreak, /Library/LaunchDaemons/dropbear.plist will get overwritten. I'm sure that there are ways around this- perhaps modifying the plist in the Yalu payload before you sideload would work...

    iOS 10 Jailbreak ?

No one uses this technique anymore? How do you import ringtones and other payloads? OK, luckily some research has helped me out. And it *can* be done without reboot, so you don't have to re-jailbreak with that annoying 7 day signing limit (any progress in this being overcome??) Steps to get...

    iOS 10 Jailbreak ?

Could anyone else get SSH to work on a Yalu JB device? Even though I've changed the password, WinSCP says that connection is refused. I think that SSH is enabled. Did anyone else have this issue?
