NextGeniPhone: Predictions on New Hardware & Release Dates.

Doesn't look like the Apple will be glowing.

Next iPhone to have 3.2-megapixel camera?

I'm pretty sure video capabilities are definitely in the new OS so the new hardware will definitely have a newer camera chip anyway.

NextGeniPhone: Predictions on New Hardware & Release Dates.

I would think more like the status light on the Airport Express and Time Capsule.

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

Sorry for the confusion. It sounded like patrickj could not use the App Store with other jailbreak methods. That is apparently not the case. I tried jailbreaking when I first got the iPhone but it was in its infancy and I wasn't too thrilled with the results. Now there are a few apps I would...

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

Ah, it sounded like you were saying you couldn't do that with other jailbreak methods. Thanks for clarifying. You can install the client app without putting anything on the phone. Can you tell me what is better/unique about InstallerApp over other solutions, if anything? It sounded like it...

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

Don't think anyone is disputing this. That Kate thread read just like all the other jailbreak horror stories I've read: some freaked, some restored, some uninstalled, some liked it.

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

Then the jailbreak you perform does indeed interfere with normal iTunes use. You just don't happen to use the disrupted feature. The InstallerApp folks claim you can continue to do everything normally with your iPhone and iTunes including the App Store.

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

If it allows me to continue to use the iPhone normally with iTunes I would say that does not disrupt my normal use. Is that how it works? "Disruptive" might be subjective.

InstallerApp For Mac Installs Jailbreak Apps Without Jailbreaking Your iPhone

Unless I missed other duplicate threads, I'm surprised more peeps haven't chimed in on this app. The Kate thread's bulk is mostly ancient with recent posts showing no problems removing it. I would venture that this is the risk you run installing an app that affects core functionality. This new...

iPhone Software 3.0 Official Discussion Thread

I completely agree. Even lame phones can send a picture to your email address. But the problem is most of them just won't bother. This is what we assumed 2 years ago and it is still a problem. How about they at least come up with a solution that lets my service receive the picture and...

That's what we said 2 years ago. You proved my point.

iPhone Software 3.0 Official Discussion Thread

I'm really disappointed at the lack of OS updates this past year. Sure, Enterprise support was cool and all, but push notification was DOA with nothing since that hyped-up description of how awesome it was going to be. So, how excited should we be at the new amazing 3.0? I would guess it will...

The New Palm Pre - First Real iPhone Competitor?

I think I read the magnetic back is an optional back (maybe it comes with the charger?) so the normal back won't be magnetic. I also think the CES video on Palm's web site mentioned support for Mac so that shouldn't be a problem. But I have been sorely disappointed by Palm's treatment of Mac...

    iPhone tethering is here!

Since your iPhone is JB I'm guessing this guide requires a JB phone? If not, do you have a link to this guide posted somewhere else on this forum you could link to?

    iPhone tethering is here!

Maybe it won't be back! NetShare Unlikely to Return to U.S. App Store There's not a lot of information so I'm still optimistic it will return. :2cool:

It seems it will be back based on what Nullriver posted on their site.

    iPhone tethering is here!

As always, it depends on where you are. Where EDGE coverage and speed is good it is very nice. I am definitely happy with it. I don't have any benchmarks, sorry. I used to turn off graphics in Safari when tethering with my SE T610 (9.6K) so that would be a good idea if the speed isn't so great...

    iPhone tethering is here!

Ah! Didn't know the other way didn't work out for you. They both have the same network effect so one shouldn't work better than the other. I am using the other mask which is more technically correct for class C subnets but as long as they are the same it should work. Maybe something else wasn't...
