Just wanted to update this some more, contacted Apple via the email address the emails were sent from earlier and they added a free accessory to my order after I explained the inconvenience this caused me. Overall, satisfied with their customer service on this issue.

I sold my4s (white 64GB) for $460 It wasn't on eBay or craigslist though. I never had it in a case and had zero scratches or chips. I hate cases, never use them.
