It seems so unfair you get to use 10 GB and are not throttled, and I'm looking at throttling at 2gb.

If you're not sure if the device is slinging over the net, turn off the option that allows remote streaming in the setup software then try to connect. If it does I can guarantee it isn't using the Internet for streaming.
