I had my old laptop stolen and have just downloaded iTunes to my new pc, now i want to transfer all the photos on my phone, (ie: the photo library) to my new pc so i can retrieve some of the pics that were taken but it's only transferring the pics on my camera roll, not the photo library...

Hi, i'm new to all this but had my laptop stolen so borrowed my dad's and downloaded iTunes in order to update. Downloaded the latest update - no probs but the backup started at 7am this morning, it's now 11pm and it's only just over halfway done! WTF? Please help as the laptop needs to go back...
