when i try to lift the lcd it looks like only the lcd going to come out

i think my friend tried to fix it his self 1st and pull all the glue that stick the digitizer to the lcd frame so is putting the suction cup on the lcd my only choice

im fixing a buddy of mine cracked glass iPhone and when im using the suction cup to lift the whole screen with the frame only the digitizer comes up without the frame. how can i get the lcd and frame out so i can replace the digitizer also sorry if none of this makes any sense.
