Not much to really do on the device that I haven't done in some form on some other PDA or iPod. Was hoping for something ground-breaking that would keep my attention. Anyone else feel the same?

RIM and Palm were new companies that released new devices. Apple has been around since the 80's and already has the experience. don't make excuses for them. They are using their own operating system, not something foreign to them. They should have made better use of it.

You are missing the point. Its not that I cant wait 15 mins for my email, its that Apple decided to put a limit on it and not give their users the option. Whether I need my email checked every minute or every hour, is irrelevant. You have to take into account what your competitors are doing...

I don't disagree. I think most of the problems I have and many others have can be fixed with updates, but its a matter of when they release it and also, what they choose to fix/update. Apple may like the mail program as is and not do anything to change it.
