Just to give everyone an update, my phone does not show back-ordered status, but this is probably another false alarm. I look to have an 3G iPhone once Apple releases the 4G iPhone this time next year. I ordered first day; Friday July 11th.

Well, my logic was that hypothetically those that switched SIM cards were speculating double charges etc. Although I confirmed with an ATT rep there was no trace of my previous activatin, I thought it might have something to do with it. Good thing it doesn't.
