The same thing happened to me. I lost 15 years of contacts. I did think I backed up but my backup was really 0kb so I did something wrong in the backup! I no longer trust syncing with the iPhone.. It really sucked to lose all my contacts like that...

i did uncheck "automatically sync when iPhone is Connected" but I didn't think that meant that the little iPhone icon won't show up in iTunes unless you restart. Anyone else have this problem with "automatically sync with iPhone" unchecked? I'm going to see if this is the problem..

No mods on my iPhone. I have the latest version of iTunes and the 1.0.1 version of iPhone software that I had hoped would fix this problem. I just kind of assumed everyone had to restart their iPhone in order for iTunes to sync.

Does anyone else have the problem where the iPhone is never detected by iTunes? I have to restart the iPhone everytime I want to sync the iPhone. Is this normal? Any work around for this?

Maybe this case I have is making it hard for me to entirely cover up the speaker.. I think I need some rest..lol

I like the case but I agree with you on it's problems. To reiterate them, my main problems with the case are these: #1. The top edge isn't even cut straight in mine. It looks like someone tried to cut it with scissors and couldn't cut it straight. #2. The pop on glass cover is a nice idea but...

Ahh.. You are right. I just noticed this picture with an item connected to the dock. I didn't see it before because it was hard to see black on black.. :smile:

Wow! You are right.. It doesn't look like you can charge it in the case. I wish I knew this before I purchased it :(
