All devices successfully updated to 11.3. My iPhone 7Plus ( June 2017) battery 100%, my wife's 6plus ( Aug 2015) battery 97%......both iPads (her iPad Air2 & my Mini4) no issues. Our battery discipline has ALWAYS been charge whenever power available ie usually when at home, including at night, all devices. Try not to let charge drop below 40 %', and let the internal wizardry sort out the rest. We've followed that protocol since iPhone 4S days and never had a phone die due battery......

I believe I have a foggy memory ( like most of my memories) of reading that although 11.3 is available on 5S or subsequent phones, the battery management function is not supported on phones before iPhone 6.....

Further to last, yes - I did see an article in "MacRumours" indicating thet the 'then upcoming' ( This was about a month before release) iOS11.3 would be supported on all iPhones from iPhone 5S onward , but "battery management feature" would NOT be operational on the 5S. It would be supported on the SE however.

“iOS 11.3 adds new features to show battery health of an iPhone and recommend if a battery needs to be serviced. These can be found in Settings -> Battery and are available for iPhone 6 and later.”

One of my friend who has updated on his iphone 6 does not have an option to choose 2g / 3g which previously he had on 11.2.6.
