yes i got around 5 hours usage and 13 standby using the safari and ipod and using the email function almost every 5 mins, to me thats good enough, and wifi too.
20% battery left from 10hr standby

Cool I have a 3 Series coupe. Bimmer fans are everywhere.
Anyways, I set up an appointment with the genius bar at the grove in LA again, I hope they just switch my phone out and give me a new one.
Just got off the phone with Apple and he said this battery life was not normal. He wanted me to send it in for repairs but I just bought this phone 5 days ago, they ARE going to give me a new one, for a $600 phone.

i basically took a picture of the usage screen , then took a print out of the screen -- showed it to them .. that this is not right .. and then i made myself sound a little smart 
spoke abt the 5 series and 7 series lcd panels and how the problems are there and how i follow all the forums and for the fact know all these issues..
those geniuses with their 50 IQ just got bowled over haha

I didn't take a picture, would have been the logical thing to do. Should I wait until tomorrow? I really just want to get this over with today. Its such a hassle.
it is a hassle .. i know --- But trust me , do it the right way , so they know that you know it all and they cannot bull crap you...also dress smart.. not some flip flops and some grungy look... one look and they should think that you are a professional .. believe it or not - it all helps....
In my experience the battery drains a lot quicker when the wifi is on. When it's off, I can go 2-3 days without charging.

By the way we meant the series of the LCD not what BMW everyone has. the 5 series LCD is a little brighter then the 7 series (Again LCD). HAHAHAHA

go to keypad then type in *3001#12345#* and then click call then click on LCD version
You did say that you got 5hrs of usage + 10 hours of standby right? I bet if you took out that 5hrs usage you would get about 2 days out of it.
But you know your phone better than I do so if you don't think you are getting enough battery life out of your $600 phone, take it in.

I just saw this on AT&T's website:

So 5 hours of internet use as opposed to 6 hours of internet use... you are still doing pretty good.

Yeah but I'm not getting 15 hrs, im getting 5 hrs use, not Internet maybe 30%. And 5 hrs standby time.
if this phone could do all those times at once that would be RIDICULOUS! It would last forever....comon!
Pick one of those times. If you see in the fine print below it states how you get those times. It's pretty hard to do actually.
You're battery life is just fine. People forget that signal strength and brightness and how often you use the screen affect battery life way way way way more then having Wi-Fi on or off or checking e-mail every 30 minutes vs. every hour. Plus those usage times are bogus anyways. If you turn on your phone just to check the time real quick, you will add 3 minutes. If you go through the day and use it like you should lets say 45 minutes of ipod, check email about 20 times, watch a podcast or 2, go surf for 30 minutes, make calls for 30 minutes to an hour and a few other things then you should come home with half your battery left. I usually get 5 hours usage and 12 hours standby and I'll be at 30%ish....no complaints here. If I purposely try to save batteries like I did once, by not checking the phone besides when I need to ...it'll last 2-3 days. <---that right there is better then any smart phone

Well I just got back from The Apple Store at the Grove, and they replaced my iPhone. I did a search and found that my last iPhone had a 5 series screen and this one does as well so we'll see about the battery life this time. They also said my battery life wasn't normal.

Good job returning a perfectly good phone just like 70% of the people in this forum that return a phone....or 5UPDATE:
