Watched a little of the first preseason game this evening. Giants and Bills. It's only preseason, but I sure am happy that football is back!

My Saints look good in practice. Defense looks poised to build on last years success and the offense has also added some pieces. Can't wait to see them in game action. Who Dat! Geaux Saints!

Missed the game tonight, but very much looking forward to football season. My Cowboys play on the 7th against the Chargers. Already, it's been an eventful preseason with a few major injuries on an already league worst defense. People have said, "they can't be worse then last year." Maybe they can..

I do think the offense will be great this year. The offense line is rock solid. Dez is great, they've got a legit number two receiver and the best backfield in years. They had better score a lot and focus on ball control.

Hearing good things about the Saints. I think it was Archie Manning that said it's the best team they've had in years.

Never underestimate the potential of the Cowboys! :D

And what's with them sending out playoff and NFC Championship tickets to season ticket holders? I'm not superstitious but some might call that a jinx.

About the thread title, is 2013 still relevant?

Brees didn't play in their scrimmage Saturday. He's listed as having a strained oblique. Saints fans everywhere are holding their breath. Even though Coach Payton says it is minor.

Also, Saints play the Cowboys at Jerry's World on Sep 28th. After the game last year, the Cowboys are going to be out for some revenge, I would guess.

I'm hoping my Jags have a better season than last. With the millions of dollars that were used to improve the stadium, I have faith in my team with all the changes to personnel. It's still a rebuilding year but the Jags are getting there.

I'm curious with the restructuring of the Seahawks if my home team is going to win another Super Bowl. They had an incredible run last year.

It is awfully hard to repeat in the NFL. And teams, like my Saints, are making moves to counter those successes.

Very disappointing end to the Saints game today, and even more disappointment with the defensive performance. I really hope it isn't a sign of how this season will go.

Heheh. Same here. :D
Looking like Seahawks vs. Broncos. Patriots lost, Chiefs lost. Who is going to upend the Broncos? In the NFC, the Niners looks beatable. The Cowboys handed spotted them 21 and they only scored 7 in the 2nd half. Saints and Falcons might have a good D if they combined teams. The Eagles? They had to come back against the lowly Jags.

Cowboys first play - false start penalty. That's all I needed to know what I'm in for this year. 8-8.
