38 and counting here.34.2 hr and counting anybody taking this long to activate also?
All it got me was another 3 e-mails, w/no luck on activation.Did you go get a new SIM from AT&T?
OMG, thats TERRIBLE! I thought mine was bad at 20+ hours. Did you get an activation ID number in your e-mail. This is a nightmare! Go to an AT&T store and maybe they can straighten it out. Mine got activated and was all goofed up, and they fixed me right up, better than I could have ever imagined!34.2 hr and counting anybody taking this long to activate also?
i've been waiting 41+ hours, 18 hrs on the second sim. Gotten 3 copies of the same e-mail with order number
$35 plan no explanation given? looks like you need to make the decisions not them, a lil arguing and persuation goes a long way to gettin what you want, I got the wrong number put onto my iPhone from my family plan, they said that i was gonna have to pay 25 for the new sim card, but i told them i wasn't gonna pay for a mistake on their part, and they credited it to my account so i didn't have to pay anythingTook it to the store, got a new sim, and nothing except for 3 e-mails for sim #2, and another 2 for sim #1.
Called this morning and was told I could not have the $20 plan, had to take the $35 plan, (no explanation given) and that it could take another 24-48 hours.
They also said there was explicit instructions for how to activate on your receipt from the ATT store (big fat lie).
Then they told me I had to leave the phone plugged into the computer for the whole duration of the activation process.
I'm so mad, I'm making myself ill.
win
I was at 34 + hours as well. Spent a couple hours on the phone this morning with various ATT depts. and reps and finally got it straightened out and now I'm activated! Prior to upgrading to the iPhone, I had a plan discount on my account associated with my employer (not a corporate account). From what the various reps have told me, I can no longer have a discount on my rate plan because of a contact between ATT and Apple. So, bottom line, it was the discount that was hanging up my activation. After we figured it out, they activated my iPhone while I was on the phone with them.34.2 hr and counting anybody taking this long to activate also?
I called ATT this morning after 20 hours of activating and demanded they do something and they pushed through my activation. Also how do you transfer the SIM card? I had ATT and an old razor I cannot transfer..38 and counting here.
Edit*****
I am also at 19 hours on the second SIM card.
