3GS 4.3.3 upgrade?

Hello and appreciate any help and for your time in advance! I have a 3gs 16gb running on iOs 3.1.3,unlocked bb 5.12.01, new bootrom. Following tutorials finished with a snow...4.3.3 custom fw to preserve my unlocked bb,but I didn't installed it. I've read some threads saying I should wait for 4.3.5 custom firmware cause Apple is not aproving 4.3.3 anymore? Others say tiny... method? I'm confused! It is possible or not? Please help!

It's possible if you have a 4.3.3 SHSH saved. There are several ways to save them, but you have to do it before Apple closes the signing window. It closes when the next firmware version is released. The deadline was July 18th for 4.3.3.

I installed ishshit and b'up my shshs and it says the only 2 fw that I can b'up are 4.1 and 4.3.5 because Apple can't sign them.But I have 4.3.3 on cydia like on your screenshot.I would like somethig 4.x!
Can I make custom fw for 4.1?

If Cydia shows 4.3.3 (like it does in my screenshot), then you have it saved in Cydia.

You need to edit your hosts file so it redirects to Saurik's sever, shift+restore to your custom firmware with a preserved baseband, then install ultrasn0w.

Did you check the hactivation box in sn0wbreeze (it should ask if you to activate the phone without an official SIM)?

Anticipate a 10xx error when you're done restoring. You can kick it out of Recovery mode with Fix Recovery, TinyUmbrella, or RecBoot at that point.

Thanks Europa for your time! I did the editing and check the hactivation box...and made the custom ipsw. I have tinyumbrella; if error 10xx apears, should I click on fix recovery or exit recovery? I would like to know before I try this! I love my iPhone and I don't want to screw it. What's the worst case scenario? Thanks again for your help!

Worst case is that it won't restore with the sn0wbreeze custom firmware and you'll have to find a Mac to make one with Pwnage Tool. Use the stand-alone app, Fix Recovery, which can be downloaded on the Tiny Umbrella website:

Hello! I tried to update, did the shift+restore,selected the ipsw I created with snowbreeze(iTunes is set to saurik's),"preparing to restore" and then iTunes says "error 1601",I exit recovery and I'm still on 3.1.3 please help!
