4S battery drain after iOS 6?

My wife had an iPhone 4 and I had a 4S

Updated both to iOS 6. The 4S OTA the 4 with iTunes.

I passed the 4S to her and sold the 4 and i got the 5. She says the battery is not as good as the 4.

I had restored the 4's backup to the 4S.

Since she complained I restored the 4S fresh and setup as a new phone without restoring the backup.

Is this a common problem?
Will it solve the extra battery drain?

You may need to go in and turn off some settings that iOS 6 enables. Lots of threads on the forum about specific settings to use to maximize battery life. I'm using iOS 6 on my 4s and have no issues with the battery compared to iOS5.

I tried that.

Those were all adjusted with the 4 and the 4S.

Same issue here. I turned off all the recommended settings, but still getting a bad battery drain...worse than on iOS 5.1 and jailbroken.

My wife says the battery seems to be better after I setup her 4S fresh as a new phone instead of restoring the backup
