91 MB iPhone software update (Unofficial)

According to this person who spoke with some Apple Engineer yesterday on a problem, there is some improvements on a restore that is a 91 mb file.

Claims that there is no change to the 1.0 version but that the download was real on the restore.

No way to confirm but thought it would be interesting for those considering it before the "official" update folks anticipate next week.

Its just the original software that came on the phone itself.

But the guy claims that he was directed to do the restore as there were updates in the 1.0 software not available during release.

Don't know what to make of it.

maybe Apple will relase fixes this way so it appears iPhone has no problems

That's really no different than the fixes they post from time to time for your ipod.
