I read in the new iPhone books that just were released that there is a work-around to sending photo's as a text message (Im sure this is old news to most of you).
Anyway, the book states that you simply need to know the carrier of the person that you are sending the photo to.
You email the photo and message to 2125551212@mms.att.net, for example - and your email gets converted and sent to the recepient.
I tried this today by sending a photo (via email) to my wifes Razr and it didn't work - she hasn't gotten the photo. I did not get a message back that the email address was invalid...anyone know what I did wrong?
I don't have the book in front of me but all cell phone carriers have their own addresses that can be emailed to:
All from memory:
2125551212@vmobl.com for Verizon
2125551212@mms.att.net for AT&T
2125551212@tmomail.net for T-Mobile
etc..
