Activation times only to get worse as the night goes on?

People are already waiting forever for activation. Does that mean people in the Mountain and Pacific time zones will have even more trouble as the night wears on?

Heck, still another hour before they even go on sale in CA.

This seems like a logical approach to me. I have currently waited an hour and four minutes, still no activation. Only time will tell I guess

unless att somehow has their system partitioned by region, probably. its possible various regions have different activation centers though, so hopefully it will help spread the load as the west coast starts activating

i wonder what the new activation count is, i'm sure att is pleased

First i thought i had to swap my sim from my 8525... but i just downloaded iTunes and docked the iPhone and 2 minutes later it was activated. So that means there's already a sim card in the phone?
