Add sources to Cydia

Hello,
I updated my 4.3.3 iPhone 4 to 5.0.1 and jb with redsnow. Now I am not able to add any sources to cydia. When I googled it was said it may be cos of the huge traffic to cydia servers. And waited these days. Still I am not able to add any sources to cydia, which says verification error, request timed out. Could you please help me?I am from UAE for info.

The cydia source your trying to add may be down or incorrect...

Which repo are you trying to add to Cydia?


Note: If the repo contains cracked apps etc don't post it publicly as it is against forum policy.

After doing a search this seems to be the latest thread on this issue. I just bought a used Verizon 4S on 5.0.1 and I'm trying to add the source cydia.furiousmod.com so I can unlock with Gevey. It keeps giving me:

Verification Error
A server with this specified hostname could not be found.

This name must good because you need it to use the Gevey and they're the ones telling me to add it to Cydia. I would restore but this phone's SHSH apparently haven't gone through yet because Cydia's main page says :

This device is in the pending TSS queue

Any ideas?

Still have the same issues and tried everything on that other thread but it wouldn't work. Does anyone know of a Furiosmod.deb I can download and install with ifunbox or maybe if Furiousmod is on another repo?

I've always found interesting that it's ok to talk about some software that has been altered without paying their developers but we can't talk about other software which has been altered and their developers aren't getting money either.

Examples :

Hack and alter Apple's IOS (jailbreaks & unlocks) = OK
Hack and alter another Dev's apps (pirated apps) = NOT OK

Not judging, just saying it's interesting.

I don't make the rules, I just make sure we all abide by them. Pirating applications, in any way shape or form is wrong.
