Anyone get push Yahoo mail working?

Coming from a Blackberry, I am very interested in learning about the push email service offered by Yahoo. Does one simply sign up for a basic Yahoo email account and then add that account to the iPhone (under Yahoo). Or, is there something else that must be done to get a yahoo push email address?

So did you just setup your Yahoo email account on the Phone? Any special setup?
I ask since I have to wait till Monday to activate the phone, due to Business Office not open on weekends.

Thanks for the info. Glad to know you are working well. Off-Topic, how are all the other functions? I am reading that the volume is a little low, and the WIFI is not working for some. How are these for you?
i am not having these problems at all...the only problem i am having is not being able to manage my music/videos on my iPhone manually...there is no option for this...its RIDICULOUS...everyone seems to be having this issue...so to get the songs i want on there i have to make a playlist with all the songs i want on there, but i cant do that for video...pretty odd if u ask me...makes no sense at all...hopefully this wont last long.
I am sure they will update the software for that, if there are enough complaints.

I found it comes and goes as far as working is concerned. I've sent test messages and received them immediately and others did not come out for a while.
Also, it seems it does not check (push) if the phone is sleeping (i.e. locked due to inactivity)
Well, I just checked my yahoo mail and it downloaded a message that had been sitting there for an hour!

Sometimes the emails come instantly...Other times they will sit there until the end of days. WTF is going on.
Oh and why does my email app crash everytime I send an email through yahoo. GMail works fine!

Yes it does, but it is not immediate when you configure it. Also, maybe a restore of the iPhone would help. I restored mine and it works perfect, no lag, no errors, no problems.
The sending crash is a problem many of us are having since earlier today. It appears to be due to some change Yahoo may have made -- perhaps affecting primarily Yahoo! Plus accounts.

So yahoo mail push is a dead duck as far as I am concerned. It works for 30 mins after you turn it on and then disappears like a fart in the wind.
No problem I thought. It's only my personal mail, I can wait 15 mins for even the most important spam so I set it to fetch every fifteen minutes. This morning I wake up (phone has been on all night) and have no email. This is especially odd as I sent myself an email last night to check it was working.
I go to my inbox and suddenly 14 emails are downloaded. So far I have missed out on a free breast reduction, a herbal hard-on and a night of hardcore sex with a shaven brazillian lady. I can manage without the first two but I'm pretty annoyed about the last one!
