Anyone had a problem with iPhone deleting Favorites?

I recently have been doing some syncing with my iPhone and noticed that it totally removed all my Favorites on my laptop. Has this happened to anyone?This has royally pissed me off . If you treasure your favorites like I do be warned and export your favorites before doing any syncing and pay attention to whats going on....

theres an option to turn it off in iTunes when you connect you phone

Yeah I noticed but does this strictly deal with Favorites folder? I noticed that it wasn't specific in mentioning Favorites. Weird.

I guess I'm confused on why when you sync that the bookmarks on my iPhone just don't append to the Favorites on my pc. Seems Apple got this logic backwards

This happened to me too. How do you export your favorites?

IE happens to call it "Favorites" and i gues it says "Bookmarks" in iTunes but its the same thing. uncheck it and nothing will happen to the favorites folder in IE or the iPhone when synced. Mine got deleted too when I first synced it.

Do you know if the favorites are still there somewhere on the laptop? I'm pissed too and I don't know what to do.
