App allows AirDrop-like transfers between iDevices and Macs

I thought this was pretty neat. It allows you to beam photos and videos from your Camera Roll to any Mac on your network.

I just downloaded the iOS app and beta Mac app. Pretty cool for photos when you don't want to take the time to sync, very handy.

Nice! But hasn't Bump been able to do something similar to this? Bump doesn't need a separate Mac app either.

I hadn't kept up with Bump since the days when it was iphone-to-iphone only. I just checked it out and indeed, it works from iphone-to-computer as well, nowadays. Thanks for sharing!

They indicate all you have to do is go to http://bu.mp on your browser and "bump" your spacebar, presumably with the iPhone close by. That's certainly an advantage over Instashare.
