Wow, I can't believe Apple would release such a POS headset. Either my headset is defective or they just suck in general. It's quite obviouse Apple did not put the headset in QA before releasing it becuse than they would have known how bad the quaility and distance are.

I get very choppy noises. If I put the phone in my pocket, most of the times the static and breakup of sound becomes an issue. I can't even walk 4feet from the phone before the quaility goes to sh!t.

I'm going to get this replaced and try another. If it's the same issue, i'm going to have to return it. But they better not try to get 15% out of me or else i'm going to make a HUGE issue out of it.

I'm so pissed

a LOT of people are having the same issues. Apple is going to loose some money with this one. I hear nothing but complaints with it. Good luck finding a new one that suits you :)

honestly, I am surprised with Apple regarding this product...every user review I have read mentions how the bt Apple headset fails when it is used with an iPhone in a pocket...to me this is a dead giveway of a cheap product and or Apple simply cutting corners...

This is really extremely disappointing to me personally because when I initially saw the bt headset I was I'm love....hopefully Apple receives enough complaints so that they discontinue this product

I'm on my second Apple bt headset. My first one was very bad, but the second has been great with no issues. I do have to use a Jabra Eargel to keep it in my ear, but that doesn't bother me and it doesn't reduce the sound quality.

Mine works sometimes great and other times there is so much static in it I give up using it. I just can't figure out why the static is there sometimes and other times it is fine.

You should have read the reviews before you bought it. Everyone and their cousin has said it is a POS...

IMO, anybody in the market for a Bluetooth headset and doesn't ultimately decide on a Jawbone simply isn't: 1) doing their homework; 2) ending up with the best headset on the market.

All the reviews I've read say that the Apple headset is form over function. Seems like this review is saying the same thing.

I recently took my first Apple headset back and so far my new one is excellent. My first one would not connect to my phone at times, so far so good with this one.

Went to the Apple store and had mine replaced, after leaving, it seems to be the same thing, I'll know once I really put it in action tomorrow, If its no good, i'm returning it and getting the Jawbone, I heard a lot of good about the Jawbone but the Apple one is so nice regarding the size and the ease of charging. Ohwell. Function over design I guess.

I think there is more of a problem with the BT profile on the iPhone than it is with the headset. There are people here that have had almost zero luck with just about anything. There are a few constants though, when it comes to the Apple headset. doesn't work with phone in Pocket is a big one.
I love the size but not the price, so I opted for a Samsung WEP410. Should be here this week and as soon as I can, I'll post a review.

Mine works fine

I like the headset...small, lightweight, people are surprised when they find out I am on a headset. If i have any complaint its the lack of noise suppression in windy situations.

Cost is a + considering what you get...dock and traveling connection

As far as not fitting ears, i find that is laughable....:p:p

The salesperson at Apple recommended the Jawbone. It works great.

Your point?

I think the Apple headphone works fine....doesn't look like something some friggin Klingon might wear:cool::cool:
My point. The Apple salesperson thought the Jawbone is better than the Apple blue tooth. The noise cancellation is great. I use it in the car and I don't walk around with it in my ear.

You must be in high school.
