I have one and it is VERY good. The sound is the best I've heard in a blue tooth headset and I've had a lot. It sounds better then the Jawbone and doesn't look like a cheese grater (no offense anyone). The dual dock is great and I love the way it charges. The way it hangs in your ear is perfect too. Must buy!

About the part that fits in your ear, is it the same design as the headphones that come with the phone, or is it an earbud style earphone that fits snuggly?

It's a similar design to the Apple earphones, but when I look at the two next to each other, the BT one is centered rather than offset like the stock earphones.
I don't know if that is the difference, but I REALLY dislike the earphones, but find the BT headset comfortable, and it doesn't come loose like the headphones did for me. I even shook my head vigorously with the headset in and it stayed in place.
I was lucky in that I was able to try one on in the local Apple store before I bought it.
If you can, I would suggest you try one first, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the way it fit.

I have the exact opposite experience. My sound quality is not very good and gets worse as soon as I get more then 2 feet away from my iPhone. So either I got a bad one, on my iPhone bluetooth has issues. I am leaning towards the iPhone as it also sounds like crap when I used the handsfree in my car.

But the dual-dock and pairing process is the best I have ever seen and it does fit well and stay snug in my ear.

I agree. I retuned mine almost as quickly as I purchased it. So did a buddy of mine. This is by far the worst Apple product I've used and I go all the way back to the Apple IIe.

yes, I've heard mixed reviews. I'll hold out until it gets put through it's paces... plus, who doesn't enjoy pulling out their iPhone whenever you get a call... classy.

I got one yesterday, and the volume is great. There does seem to be some background noise, but I'll have a better review tomorrow as to how I sound to other people.... It's ok, but the as good as sliced bread... :)

Howdy, does anyone know if the iPhone earpiece has a redial last call feature? Someone was saying that it was easy to use AT&Ts voice calling feature if you could keep redialing *8 without having to get the phone out? Thanks.

Hey, is it just me, but when I charge my iPhone in the cradle with the earpiece it automatically turns on the bluetooth on the iPhone. Really irks me.

So I am on headset #2. I just got back from the Apple store, and the guy was really helpful and tried to see what "background noise" I was hearing. Well in the process he couldn't even get the headset to pair back up w/my phone, or 2 others! So after that, he exchanged it (he was going to anyway) and I fired up the new one in the store. The background noise is reduced now, but there is still that "airy hiss" noise. I'm going to try it for another few days, and if I notice it too much, I think I may go Jawbone. Despite it's hugeness it seems that most people really like it...

hey everyone ... I got the Apple bluetooth headset today. The thing is awesome. Sound quality is excellent no static. Really good headset. It uses that same mag safe charger that the mac books use you really don't plug anything in. Really cool thing my mom and uncle got one too.
