Applejon says iChat WILL NOT be in the upcoming update

I'm not believing Applejon... when everybody asks him about the upcoming update (like will mms be in the next update, etc.) he responds by saying "I cannot share that information at this time". But with iChat, he says "Don't expect it until iPhone version 2.0 comes out because it won't be on the iPhone that's out now." I would like to know your Apple employee ID # Applejon.
Let's clear things up, shall we. I work for a department in Apple that is not directly in charge of any iPhone development but is very close with it. All the information I provide to you are from my own knowledge, however there are things that I just hear rumored, and there are things I know for SURE. I have NOT heard however, anything about iChat being in the upcoming updates SO FAR, and I am allowed to say what I DID NOT HEAR. Please don't make a big fuss about it or I will not be able to continue serving you. And tamakin I'm not going to tell you my personal information. Thank you
Wow very mature posting a thread with deliberate intentions of flaming. you should be banned. Not only did you thread crap his thread he started in which he has answered numerous questions, you "warn" him that you started your own thread "about him."
Why question credibility. If he was fake then it would be pretty sad he has spent numerous minutes/hours reading 12+ pages of questions and answering each one. Why don't you just worry about you and not the credibility of other members.

That's a good question. I suspect it will be something we can all update via iTunes. With that said I think they will come out with a 12 gig iPhone within the next year with all the latest updates but I don't think current iPhone owners will be forced to buy it because we will get all the latest software updates via iTunes. Then again this is just what I am suspecting. They made indeed force us to go purchase the updated version who knows. Btw I am typing this on my iPhone. 
This is like that other guy who was on here trying say that he was a worker at one of the companies. He claimed that the iPhone had GPS on it.lol He also kept dodging questions.
crackheadjon, why don't you at least give us a little proof. Like how about taking a picture of your Apple id or an Apple pay stub and you can cover up your personal info up with a piece of paper that says "everythingiPhone" on it so we know it's you. That would only take you a minute then we would be able to engage in a good discussion without worrying about a hoax.
If he works for tech support, this is usually how vendors work. They expect you to learn the product and not train you enough. There is always a disconnect between tech support and developers.

Anytime something new hits the market we can all get a little gullible but after a little while come on...there are a lot of people who contribute to this site who could fake their way through the majority of the issues. But people, no legit Apple tech who values their ultimate job is going to come on here and reveal the future...NOR are they going to waste their time answering basic tech issues.
Do they browse the boards, probably...and the "other" guys are here as well, who actually in fact plant various posts meant to discourage buyers and even some of their comments flow through the underground media machines and make it to main stream...so anyone who creates a user name including the words Apple or tech should be a HUGE red flag...

I kind of agree with the post above mine. I feel like iChat is way to big of a thing, and it would be so easily upgradeable that we will see it in an update. We have the rumor saying it will, and then we have this source saying it's not. I kinda believe the source that says we will.
