I've searched around and have only found an article where someone has drilled into their iPhone to make a lanyard. I have a great digital camera that has a lanyard and I also have a Wii so i'm lanyard crazy right now. For some reason I feel safer with a lanyard. Does anyone know if there are any cases with them at least? Thanks!

Well, to each his own but I can't see why you'd wanna put your phone on a lanyard. Lol. I guess it'd have it's benefits as far as easy access, but I've always thought lanyards were kinda lame. They look like cheap necklaces with gaudy pendants.

Wrap it around your wrist while using it, and you can't drop it.

Same principle as racquetball... sorta, that's more so that you don't bean your opponent in the head when it slips out of your hands, but you get the idea.

How dumb is it that this iPhone case site requires flash so it isn't viewable from an iPhone?

You have to question how good their cases are if they can't even design a _website_ to work with the iPhone!
They don't just make iPhone cases but I get your point. Hopefully the iPhone update will remedy the lack of flash. Vaja makes beautiful cases and I have bought products from them before. I still have them and they hold up very well. I personally go back and forth between getting a case and not. So far I have not gotten one yet.

Well, I get that, however a case with a lanyard means its use probably isn't limited to just holding it while on the phone. But I guess it doesn't really matter. If some people think they need it who am I to try to convince them otherwise.

Naw man, I have a $500 digital camera...without a lanyard it would have been history by now. My old sony ericsson phone had one and it saved the phone a lot. It was weird at first but once you understand all the close saves it's worth it.

Yeah, you're probably right. You guys need to stop now though, I don't wanna be convinced that I should have one too.

iPhone case with Lanyard

I finally found one for my 3G iPhone! I was visiting my friend at U of M and they had fliers all around campus. I ordered one on Monday and am pretty impressed with it. I had been looking for this for so long.
www.4voi.com I hope this helps someone else!

I found one! if you are still looking for a case with lanyard there are two, but one allows you to use the phone while in "holder" go to www.iphone-lanyard.com. pricey, but if your phone has a water magnet like mine seems to have, buying a lanyard is less than having to replace a phone that wants to get dropped in water. This holder can hang around your neck

I guess that could be a bright idea if your ever around water or like to use your phone while peeing since dropping the phone in the toilet is a common water damage lol. Other then that I'd stick with a otterbox, it almost guarentees your phone won't break from what I heard.. It's like a tank for your iPhone. :)

Do guys use phones while peeing..?
Gosh I didn't think that was possible.
(naive I guess)

This lanyard idea sounded kinda lame, but now that I think about it. I would probably have a much pretty iPhone and other equipment if I had the use of them..def gonna put serious thought about lanyards in my to do list. Could save my next iPhone from being dropped. Alot:)

Not me since my first one took a dive in there ages ago.. But I do see or hear people talking on the phone all the time, not so much searching for apps or using icafe though. Lol.

Liberty Case has a great Lanyard iPhone case. The lanyard is detachable so you can use the case with or without the lanyard. The lanyard also has a safety break-away in the back. This is a great case that makes it easy to access your phone and be hands free. You can get it at www.libertycase.com.

Lanskin has a unique Lanyard Skin Case for the iPhone 3G, 4, 5 and iPod 4th Gen. By far the best product out there. Just do a google search.
