As far as exchanging and the warranty goes...

I love my iPhone, but I have a few bugs with it:

#1: My phone came with a scratch on the side of it, either that or I scratched it as SOON as I took it out of the box.

#2: My battery icon will say it's full when it's on the dock, but when I answer a call (while it's still on the dock) and talk for no more than 1 minute, the battery status will sometime show as 75% or 50% right after it said it was at 100%

#3: When it hits low battery (20%-5%) is when things really start to glitch up, the screen constantly freezes and sometimes it'll even freeze on one screen until the battery just dies out.

Now do you think if I went in to the Apple store tomorrow and they had more 8GBs in stock and I told them all of these 3 above that they'd give me a new one, or would they hassel me through a bunch of tests and/or tell me to go to AT&T?

Other than this, the iPhone is the best thing since sliced bread and the wheel. I'm just praying for iChat and copy&paste.

Return the phone to the place of purchase, either ATT or Apple. Call first to see if they have any replacement phones in stock. The scratch is a relatively minor issue. Try a restore using iTunes to see if the battery issue can be fixed. It could be either software of hardware causing your freezes. Restoring your phone in iTunes will eliminate the software as a cause and make it more likely they will replace the phone. No one should hassle you, but software errors are an easy fix and they just want to eliminate the simple causes. Phones with hardware issues will be swapped out, supplies permitting.

I restored the iPhone twice and it still gives me the same battery problem as well as glitches. The main reason why I really want another one is because of the cratch, it's kind of a deep scratch and I can feel it while I'm typing or browsing, it makes me feel like my iPhone doesn't like me.

is the battery Full with a Plug Symbol or a Lightning bolt? Bolt = charging.....Plug = Full charge.
