AT&T saying they are not bumping contracts

I got my 3GS using my husbands expired contract and then he got his 3GS using my finally expired contract. No contract on my 3GS so I'm good to go. Any work on pricing?

They pulled the same crap last year. Said we couldn't upgrade then a week or so later changed their minds. Let's see if they do it again.

I unfortunately do not have upgrade capability. It sucks because as the main account holder of our family plan, you would think they would allow the account holder to always upgrade even before 18 months. Oh well...will try to upgrade swap or maybe even win one here from Everything iCafe =)

Yeah.. but we don't have a week because pre-orders are in 2 days. I would love to since i've been a customer since 2007, and yes they have ALWAYS bumped me up. Usually a few weeks before. Don't think it will happen this time, but we can hope.

Ha, I've been around. Just got caught up in the 4S last time. Usually on here for the wait. And not sure if I can, I can only sell my 32 gig 4s for about 350-400 on craigslist, and I don't have the money to put down to pay even 449+ tax for just a 16gig.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. In the past, AT&T allowed the early upgrade and then the second line of +$250 which both my wife and I have done with the 4 and then again with the 4S. This time looks like we are screwed. Our current options are showing full retail pricing on the secondary line and the +$250 on the main line. What's involved with opening 2 more lines on my account then taking the 5's to the first two lines. Just an extra $10/month per line? If that's the case, I'll buck up and pay the $20/month for 2 new lines. Can anyone give me more info on what's involved with two more lines?

What do you mean you don't have a week? You have the rest of the year. Just wait till ATT changes their mind. I'm very upset about this myself as I wanted to preorder as well on Friday. I'll have to wait for ATT to get their head out.

No discount at all phone price + $250 $449 for a 16gb 549 for a 32gb

Im thinking about biting the bullet paying the price and selling mine on ebay in the end the price is going to be about the same. If i sell my 4s 32gb for $250 or more im paying the same price as i would if i waited till i qualify for the full upgrade in May

I'm 18 months, just like last year. For the 4 I was able to upgrade in 12 months.

I was told awhile back from AT&T that the early upgrade only applies to the primary phone number on the account. They will allow you to upgrade after a 12 months but other lines have to wait 24.

just sold mine for 400 and AT&T gave me a free month, that's 100 so I'll only be paying 50 plus 38 for the upgrade. You might want to call and see if they'll do the same for you.
