On a family plan, and with AT&T premiere, also discounted. So I'd only get about 60 bucks. I also have the 32gb , so it would be $549

Did you sell it privately or is it some promo that AT&T is doing? Also, why would they give you a free month?

sold it to one of my co-worker, he's sending it to Mexico to his chica.

Because I'm a "valuable" customer or something like that, and I was nice about it.

So wait. You just called them and what did you say to get the free month? I don't get it. What did you initially call for? Upgrade eligibility?

dude, they gave me a free month not a cruise ship lol I called to see if I could get an early upgrade, like they did last year (4months in advance) They only gave me a month (April 10th instead of may 10th) and I said its ok what about the $250 on top of the 300 for the phone, can you do anything about that. She put me on hold for few minutes and when she came back she said that I won't be charged for the month of october. That's all.

I called AT&T yesterday and they moved my upgrade for me. My contract wasn't up until June 2013 and I wasn't eligible until January 2013 for an upgrade but I talked to the cancellation department. For anyone trying, the normal customer service cant move upgrades but the cancellation department can. So now im good to go to preorder so give that a try. GOOD LUCK!

What phone do you have now? If the 4S, how was you're upgrade originally Jan and not May like everyone else's. If it was the 4 I could understand.

I have the 4. What happened was last June, a friend of mine threw his 4 like a fastball and exploded it. So I gave him my upgrade lol So I signed a new contract in June 2011, well before the 4s even came out.

not necessarily, last year it wasn't the cancellation department that moved me 4 months. Now everyone will call and try to cancel LOL
