Wondering if anyone knows if I update my iPhone 4 to ios6 if AT&T can still unlock it. I have it jailbroken on 5.0.1 and no matter what I do I can not get it to restore. Nothing but errors in iTunes. Tried changing the host files and tried tiny umbrella . Have my blobs saved and stitched to the ipsw . Not even sure if the phone will update to ios6. Can't even get the phone to erase through the phone itself . I've read and searched everywhere and tried everything even 3 different computers. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Yes they can. I had my iPhone 4 unlocked from them and its iOS6. Of course no jailbreak. Just stock iOS6 and unlocked.
Well got my phone to restore to 5.0.1 and att send me the confirmation email to unlock it . I tried by restoring to 5.0.1 again but did not get the message it was unlocked . Do i need to update to 6.0 to get the unlock? and if i downgrade back will the unlock stay ?
