Going in for cataract surgery in the morning. I'm too young for this but oh well. Atleast my vision won't be blurry any more

It's a good deal. I've had both eyes done. I've had a lot of additional eye surgeries as well, but cataract surgery has come a long way between the one I had in the mid-90s and the one I had in 2000. Good luck!

I use an electronic 15 hours out of the day. I'm gonna need surgery probably.

I never knew how much vision plays a role into todays live more then ever.
Until I turned 40 and reading texts became a blurr.
Nevertheless everytime I needed to fumble my purse first for my glasses.
Annoying.
For age related issues no laser
So I use now mono vision contact. The night and day 30 day.
I have my reminder on the phone to switch it out. I can't tell I am wearing it except I can see.
So any vision improvement without glasses is +++++ I will do anything to keep my eyes going!
Today we use our vision more then ever hopefully they find a solution for eye related illnesses.
PS hubby has to take claucoma meds. Yikes!

Like I said - presbyopia.
The lens loses its natural elasticity and ability to change focus. You need more light to read by. Yup - presbyopia.
No just a contact but since you now said there is such thing I will check that out!

NPA, I think steroid injections brought on my cataracts. I would have tried to answer this sooner, but I always have difficulty figuring the diff. In posting and replying

It is a lens implant. UV with blue light filter.
I don't know if it is mono or multi. I don't see it on my patient lens implant ID card
