I've seen the BBM Vs iMessage video in YouTube and it's pretty impressive! I can't wait to get iOS 5 but I feel like there's something missing. Trying to find out who wrote the message can be quite tedious.

BBM also has the ability to exchange pins through a barcode or QR. Would be nice if Apple had this also

Which would you all prefer?

i don't think a pin is needed for iMessage so that feature is unneeded

That makes sense! It would just be nice if Apple made the group chatting interface in iMessage better, rather than those chat bubbles -_-

it does get a little confusing with the bubbles being the same as sms , maybe change the color ?

Which would you all prefer? BBM by far is this the worlds best message service.

That's debatable until imessage there was no competition so that statement really has no weight. Also until you try inessage you wont know

Can I vote for neither?

CROSS PLATFORM!

That means iOS, Mac, PC, Android, Linux, Blackberry, WinMobile, whatever

We've already got a zillion messaging services: Skype, MSN, Yahoo, GTalk that work on multiple platforms. Why do I want to buy into a solution that won't let me talk with all the people I know?

This is Summer, 2011 right? Thinking about BBM now is like thinking about buying a ticket for the Titanic right before it went down too. :D

stop drinking the koolaid. BBM has tons of features that iMessage doesn't. don't forget... how many people are actually using Apple's servers for iMessages right now? Try it when Apple is getting flooded with iMs and see how stable it is.

"Koolaid" response is pathetic, lame, out-of-place, and wholly unimaginative. For one thing, I never even mentioned iMessage. But thanks for playing. I don't want any non-cross platform messaging solution.

As for BBM.... I wouldn't use anything from RIM. In a few years they will be struggling to even survive, if not sooner.

Dude rim and bbm is irrelevant. Your supposed server scenario is real easy when no one is on rims servers. Your answer is dubious at best

are you trying to say their are more users using imessg vs BBM? you do know that BBM was out way before the iPhone was even invented?
