Only one, an ex employee that just went to collage, that's it. there's couple customers I used to play golf with that have one also, but it's provided by the company they work for. That's just me thou, obviously.Holy crap really? I know no one with a blackberry anymore all iPhones and Androids
I used to know a lot of people with BBs but no more. A few begrudgingly use company-supplied BBs but only as a secondary device. I know only one person who still has a blackberry as their primary device. But they are just nursing it along waiting for Sprint to get the iPhone. If Sprint doesn't get it by the end of this year they will likely switch to Verizon or AT&T to get it.I know one person with a blackberry, they still have a chance!
Well off blackberries are gone within 5 years imessage will be the only way to goI used to know a lot of people with BBs but no more. One thing is for sure: I would never advocate starting to use BBM at this point in time. I'd just as soon suggest getting an alphanumeric pager. Oh wait that is a BB isn't it?
Asserting that BBs in general are on their way out does not equate to saying iMessage is the way to go.

What's a Zonkel lolI can't believe we are comparing and saying something is better when it doesn't exist yet. Well isn't in use by anyone that's for sure.
I sense some Apple bias in this discussion.
I am a very strong Apple supporter but that doesn't make me stand by them in all of their endeavors. Just because it is an Apple based product it still could flop horribly.
What if messaging is out? I am pretty sure we replaced messaging. Really cool thing called texting.
What next? Are we going to compare the iPhone to the zonkel?
Couldn't care less.I seriously could care less for imessage, since I won't be using it, but if it looks like anything that was shown at the latest keynote I'll say it looks pretty darn cool and lots of people gonna be pleased with it.
Something that doesn't exist and isn't in use yet. But we were comparing things like that so I threw another one out there. What's a Zonkel lol
Although iMessage exists and is in use by many people even though its not in mass use. So your comparison is incorrectSomething that doesn't exist and isn't in use yet. But we were comparing things like that so I threw another one out there.
Are you using it? You are making comparisons.Although iMessage exists and is in use by many people even though its not in mass use. So your comparison is incorrect
I am not but I stated that a few posts back. My comparissons came from the fact that one is on one if the most popular OS which is still growing while another won't be around or relevant in 5 years at current rate of attrition. RIM looses an average of 16% of the market a year for the past 4 years. Where do you think that leaves them in 5 years if the trend doesn't change? Are you using it? You are making comparisons.
So you are stating that you predict by the current trend that bbm will be all but gone. So thereforee iPhones messenger will be better?I am not but I stated that a few posts back. That's not exactly where I stand but its part of my argument. I like iMessage better because it's not a separate app, it sends a SMS if that person isn't on iMessage , you can do everything from within the messaging app unlike bbm where you have to back out of the app to add pictures etc etcSo you are stating that you predict by the current trend that bbm will be all but gone. So thereforee iPhones messenger will be better?
Try to make sure I understand your thinking?
And before you answer don't you think when blackberry came out with it's messenger that at the time it was on one of not the most popular os?
BBM has been out for ages. It's only iMessage that is in beta (I have it though).Something that doesn't exist and isn't in use yet. But we were comparing things like that so I threw another one out there.
so your gonna go that route huh. if we use your logic then were will the iPhone be in the next 5yrs.I am not but I stated that a few posts back.
